The Breakfast

A typical Guest House in Kirkcaldy may offer guests the usual cooked breakfast  - and perfectly good it will be too! But Dunedin guests aren't typical guests and Dunedin isn't a typical Guest House in Kirkcaldy...

We feel that breakfast at Dunedin should meet the same high standards as the rest of the facilities we provide, so a Dunedin breakfast will consist of:

Image of a cafetiere of coffee

Freshly prepared fruit salad - a feast for the eyes AND the taste buds!

Fruit juice

Fresh fruit

A selection of cereals

Muesli

Porridge

Tea or freshly ground coffee

White & wholemeal toast/bread

A selection of jams & marmalades

Guests requesting a continental breakfast may also be offered:

A delicious warmed croissant.
Freshly prepared fruit salad.
Yoghurt.
Cheese.

Fruit and Criossant

Appetites can sometimes get a little jaded when faced with the same breakfast each day - no matter how delicious it may be! With this in mind (and to allow us to show off a little!) guests requesting a cooked breakfast will be offered dishes according to availability such as:

Mouth watering toasted muffin with ham or bacon, topped with delicious poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and grilled Scottish tomatoes.

Fresh slices of Scottish salmon with scrambled eggs (made with Dunedin's secret ingredient) served with a warmed croissant - gorgeous!

Traditional (but still delicious) sausage, bacon, egg, tomato etc.

Breakfast is available from from 07.30am and last breakfast is served at 08.30am (later on a Sunday). If you have any particular dietary requirements, please let us know.

Dunedin - a Guest House in Kirkcaldy where breakfast is a pleasure!

Please note.   All images above are of real Dunedin breakfasts served to real Dunedin guests. What you see is what we serve!
