St Andrews is a Mecca for Golfers from all over the globe but there are plenty things to do that don't involve a little white ball! All the same, telling your friends you have played The Old Course at St Andrews is pretty impressive!
Just one mile from Dunedin, Kirkcaldy Golf Club is an 18 hole parkland course designed in 1904 by one of Scotland's golfing legends, Tom Morris, but there are dozens of Golf courses in the Kirkcaldy area to challenge golfers of all abilities. |  |
Fife has a wealth of historic buildings, castles and monuments to see, such as Ravenscraig Castle, Hill of Tarvitt Mansion house, and Kellie Castle.
If aquatic life is of interest, a visit to the St Andrews Aquarium or Deep Sea World in North Queensferry is a "must see". Cluny Clays Shooting and Archery Centre, will allow you to try your hand at off-road four wheel driving, shooting and golf.
Dunedin is near the Fife coastal Path with over 110 miles of walking and cycling routes through some of the most breathtaking scenery in Fife.
Edinburgh, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere is an easy drive but we reccomend taking the train journey along Fife's rugged and pretty coastline that offer some spectacular views. This 35 – 40 minute trip will take you over the famous Forth Rail Bridge and on into Edinburgh’s famous Princes Street. |
